Hi Ho Colorado

I had the opportunity to go work in Colorado for two weeks before Christmas. I got to go with my amazing friend Kelsi (who got me the job). It was so so so FUN! We work for a company called Follett who does text book buybacks at Universities across the Nation. The first day we worked it was -21 degrees outside and we were lucky enough to be stationed outside in the drive-thru. Despite the freezing cold weather we enjoyed every minute of it. Each night we would head down to the lobby of the hotel and play cards with the Manager (sometimes until the wee hours of the morning). We bought tons of treats on the trip and couldn't stand to part with them so we packed them in all of our suitcases and carry-ons so we could enjoy them at home. We looked quite humorous. It was so so so much fun!!!

Mi Amorcito

So I literally have the best husband in the world!!! Let me tell you why. Today I had an appointment at the hospital to get an ECO done (all is well, just a follow up), so I woke-up, looked out the window only to see EVERYTHING covered in snow. The roads were a mess. I checked the news only to find that even the main roads were nasty. Now, if you know me then you know that I absolutely hate driving in the snow...it gives me anxiety. So I got ready, hoping that in the 30 minutes all the snow would melt from the roads and that it would stop snowing altogether. Well it didn't. I called Ty to ask him how the roads by the hospital had been this morning (since he drives that way to work). He told me that they were yucky...and the anxiety started. While we were talking about it there was a noise at the side door (which kinda freaked me out a bit). I went to see what it was and in walked my cute hubby!!! He got off work to come pick me up and take me to my appointment so I didn't have to drive in the snow. How amazing is he?!! The appointment went well and I even got my H1N1 shot..woo hoo I know! So to my husband...YOU ARE THE BEST.
TE AMO MUCHO!!!

and the tree is up

So this week we started moving in to our new house and I am more than excited. It isn't completely finished but I just couldn't wait any longer...it is just too cute of a house for me not to be living in it. So the first thing I did before anything else was put up my Christmas tree. I mean I only have a few weeks till Christmas and I want to enjoy my tree as long as possible...and I am so enjoying it. We were able to get a new tree this year from ty's grandparents (and it is a lot bigger than all of the ones we have had before), so my ornaments didn't even fill the tree. So my awesome mom went and got us some super cute ornaments and the tree looks awesome. It is perfect!!! Thanks to everyone who has helped us in moving, renovating, painting, decorating, and more. Pics of the house will be coming...once everything is unpacked and boxes are out of the way. Oh, and to those who may be wondering...my kitties are loving the new place. They are right at home.

Giving Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I know I'm a little late getting this posted but never-the-less...Happy Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I have so much to be grateful for. My health, husband, family, friends, food, kitties, my religion, and the list goes on. Let's take more moments in life to be grateful for what we have instead of just during the Thanksgiving season. Life is amazing and I love it!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE!

A Princess Party

They all lined up for their make-up and hair with huge smiles on their faces. "This is the best birthday party ever" I heard one say. After hair and make-up the girls got their portrait taken and then printed and placed in a frame that they had decorated themselves. It was so fun. Who knew that I (a twenty something year old) could have so much fun at a little girls party. I felt like a little girl all over again. To the birthday girl....HAPPY BIRTHDAY B!!!!

The Cahoon Clan

Ty and I had so much fun taking pics of his family. I seriously have the best in-laws ever! NO JOKE. Let me just tell you...after the family pics, we went back to our new house and celebrated cute Marcie's b-day and then everyone changed into work clothes to help us out on our house. How amazing is that I say!? I love them so much...and with the help of cute Megsy's friend we were able to get a BIG family pic. Thanks Celeste!!!

So, if I don't post as often as I would like then you know what I am doing. I am so so excited and can't wait to move in to my cute house!!! I will be posting pics from Halloween and my house later this week hopefully. YAY

B & K Wedding

I was up bright and early only to look out the window and see that the ground was covered in snow. "Great"...I thought. I grabbed my camera stuff and headed out the door with my bro. We drove to Salt Lake where I was shooting the wedding only to find that it was colder there than where we had left. "no big deal...cold is nothing...just don't let it rain today, I forgot my umbrella." After the ceremony we all headed outside to find that it was a complete blizzard. Within 5 minutes everyone was covered in snow, wet, and the little kids were screaming "DAD, IT'S COLD!!!!" Despite the crazy turn of events in the weather everyone was having a good time. The bride and groom looked amazing and the snow only enhanced the beauty of the day. I didn't even care that my hair was wet and crazy looking, or that my skirt was now soaked from kneeling on the ground to get those perfect shots, it was so fun (plus we received a heavenly gift of one hour of beautiful sunshiney weather). I may have a little bit of a cold now but that's okay because it is my editing day anyway so it's not like I've got to go looking fab for anyone. I would do this wedding all over again even with the weather. Happy wedding day to Becky & Kodie. Love you guys!!!
