Welcome Home

"That's him, that's him...here he comes."
"oh wait, nevermind...oops."
Those were the words that were yelled from Ty's family for 40 minutes as we all sat around waiting for their brother Trevor who was coming home after being gone for two years serving a church mission in Burmingham, Alabama. The anticipation was crazy. Where was he??? He should be in by now?? I think we were all a little too excited because his plane hadn't even landed yet, even though we were sure it had.
Everyone was hunched down trying to see to the top of the escalators at the airport, just trying to catch a glance if the person in the suit and tie was their brother, and finally...there he was gliding down that escalator with a big grin on his face. Everyone saw him at once. There were giggles, squeals, yays, every kind of shout of excitement known. Finally, he was to where we could all shove towards him to give him our long awaited hugs. One, two, three, all nine of us had received our hug. It was so good to see him.
The rest of the night was filled with food, laughter, games, and old mission stories told from those who had been. It was a perfect night (well minus mom and dad Cahoon who had to stay in Alabama cause they couldn't get a flight home...). Welcome home ELDER CAHOON. we love you!
